Worst experience you have had at a motel/hotel?

Let's hear them. Whether disgusting, bad neighbors, room falling apart, bugs, not getting $ back, etc
Mine was a cricket that chirped all night in our room and we couldn't find it. Moved everything looking for it and didn't sleep

Had a lady walk in on me and the wife doing it. The hotel gave her a key and checked her into our room.

I was 17 and still living at home before leaving for school at UT. Left a party with a chick (who was 18 and still living at home) and we decided to get a motel room so we could smash. I had no cash on me so she paid for it.
Got in the room. Messed around. She puked on the bed and in the sheets and on my legs. I slept on a nasty motel 6 floor with no blanket. Did not get laid.

I had to stay in Tijuana one week for work because of some weird as shite issue with the hotel in Otay Messa. It was a somewhat nice hotel, but there had to be a prostitute in the next room over because over the course of the week I had listen to her get the absolute shite fricked out of her by two or three different dudes every night.

Stayed at a hotel in Edinburgh on a trip with my wife.
Check in. First key/room they give us, we walk in on an old German couple watching TV.
Go back to front desk, get another key/room. Go to open that one, door hits the swinging hinge lock-thingy. We can't see inside, but from the female scream and ensuing clamor, it was pretty obvious the secks was going on inside.
Go back to front desk, get yet another key/room (and 1/2 off the rate). That one was indeed empty.
Check in. First key/room they give us, we walk in on an old German couple watching TV.

Staying on the 15th floor of that Marriott in New Orleans a few weeks ago and the elevators were broke.

Went on a school sponsored trip to Birmingam for a saturday competition. Just so happened to be the weekend of the Bama/Tenn game. So there were no alternate hotels. We drove our van to side of hotel where our 3 rooms were located, but only our rooms had doors. Other rooms were being gutted for renovation. Very spooky and creepy. A few of us slept in the van.

some beach hotel in San Diego on mission blvd. across from the Catamaran. buddy scheduled it for a trip there and i didnt bother checking in advance
i get there. No central AC, all they have is portable units. figured itd be fine since the weather is nice. our unit doesnt work. they bring us another that doesn't work. i turned into a puddle each night bc it was so hot.
shower also had mold on the ceiling. ive never written a review for something like that, and i did for them. just horrible.

No joke.. walked into room. Was no bed, and no wall. Opened door and was looking right into back parking lot. Obviously someone had driven through the wall a few days earlier, and the hotel clerk forgot and gave me that room.
