re: Worst experience with road rage you’ve ever had

Some dwarf idiot stopped me by blocking the road, had to bend over so he could stick what he called a 357 between my eyes, then dared me to move. I played along and could tell it was a toy water pistol. He babbled in a squeeky voice, something about appreciation. My wife then shouted for me to get back into the car and stop playing with that little boy.
It was a very stupid thing to do. I've pestered the dwarf community most of my life. The highway is my playground.

Met a baw at Sonic after we almost wrecked into each other.

There's a terrible intersection just outside of my neighborhood where left turns typically take forever and people frequently get into wrecks. I was waiting behind some lady who was clearly playing on her phone (you can see her head looking down, then up every once and a while)
After her missing several giant gaps, I started to honk. She got out of her truck and started walking towards me screaming "honk one more frickin' time!"...so of course my response was to start laughing and lay on the horn.
I guess she figured starting a physical confrontation with a 6"1' 230 lb man (yea I'm fat, wanna fight about it?) wasn't in her best interest, so she turned around and got back into her truck. I didn't let off the horn until she was out of the way. The best part, I was so amused by the absurdity of the situation that I wasn't even mad about the delay anymore.

Not recently but back in the day I must have somehow cut off a guy changing lanes. I say that because, as I changed lanes in my 70 Mustang he was immediately up against my rear bumper blowing hi horn, shaking his fist, and just being as animated with rage as humanly possibe. I got up to 80+ but he kept lunging at my rear bumper continuing his antics for a couple of miles. He looked huge, like Richard Keil, crammed into a Chevy Nova. He eventually dropped back and left me alone. Thank you Jesus!

That didn't happen, but if it did, you should be in jail.

Spinoff. 18-wheeler's almost running me off the road so they can merge into the left lane and pass another 18-wheeler going 1mph slower; makes me blow a gasket every time

You have to be a frickin idiot now days to exit your vehicle and approach another. You are gambling with your life it you make that choice. I have gotten older and a little more calm but I still get pissed almost every time I drive these days. Never ever leave your vehicle in a road rage incident, this advice just may save your life.

Not really a road rage, but several years ago i was headed home from a dove hunt. On a remote section of Highway 17 a car pulls up beside me and runs me off the road. The car pulls in front of me and 3 fine young gentlemen jump out and start walking toward my truck. I jump out and point my shotgun at them. They covered me and my truck with grass, dirt, and gravel getting away. The shotgun was not loaded, i got lucky.

Black dude approached me at an Exxon station saying I took his parking spot. As he walked closer to my truck, my lab, Maddie, wanted to eat his arse up... I had to hold her back to keep her from jumping out the window..
Dude stopped in his tracks, turned around and said "we cool..."

They said i was a racist bitch who hated black people. Funny thing was, I never saw their faces bcuz their windows were tinted and when they got out, they looked Italian or creole to me.

I've always wanted to be an off-duty cop for just that reason.

It's easier to forgive somebody if you aren't assuming the worst of them. I think drivers naturally assume that the other drivers on the road are evil, thoughtless, selfish wastes of humans. This mindset escalates situations unnecessarily.
When I have to deal with people driving recklessly in a hurry to wherever they're going, I remind myself how nice my life is that I don't have to RUSH in to work like a poor. And much like a response to a sneeze, I'll say aloud "God Bless You!"

I wish I could share all my road rage stories with y'all but I grew up in New Orleans so I don't want to overload tigerdroppings servers

There was this time my girlfriend teased road head but didn't follow through. Not sure if that's road rage. Maybe blue ball rage.

I had to speed by and cut off some beta Aggie bitch driving a Dodge Journey that was braking to stop at a wide-open green light in the middle of downtown Houston during AM rush hour, that was going to make me miss my light on my daily drive into the office. That fricker got behind me until my exit, horn blaring, and then chucked something at my car as I exited into downtown.

This wasn't that bad - kind of funny though. Probably 30 years ago.
A bread truck making a left crossed right in front of me - I missed him by a foot and gave him the finger.
He then u-turned and chased me down. At a stoplight he got out of his truck and started beating on my window saying "nobody gives me the finger." I waited until the light turned green, gave the finger to him again, drove on, and he just got back in the truck and turned off the street.
