At the point a tidal wave would be welcomed?

putting a burning lithium battery in water can actually worsen the situation by causing a violent reaction due to lithium's high reactivity with water, potentially releasing flammable hydrogen gas and intensifying the fire.

Plant operators clearly not vaxxed and boosted.

Thats some nasty shite. We used to use it on deep water stims. I remember Halliburton had some version of it that was blended with Xylene I think.

And how did this fire start? Accident? Sabotage?
Gavin Newsome’s arse got so red from reporter questions that it set off his hair gel.

I’m going to guess they used some shitty Bess provider because they had the lowest bid and skimped on heat detection, fire suppression and had shitty Chinese energy management systems.

Gavin has a few things going on this month.

HF dissolved rock and clays When you are spalshed with HT, you may die. if you don't get it neurtralized immediateely.
HF funes etch glass.
I don't know the connection to Lithium batteries. I did a lot of dissolvng of rock and treated it with more care than you can imagine.

It's a product of the lithium batteries combustion. They burn/explode and release Hydrogen Fluoride gas, which is extremely dangerous. As soon as it comes into contact with any moisture, like someone panics and houses the fire with water, it because Hydrofluoric acid. So, if you have seen what it does to rocks, imagine what it would do to human tissues.

Dammit. That’s right off PCH and across the street from a harbor and wildlife refuge. We go over there annually during the summer. Moss Landing is about 20 minutes north of Monterey and 30 minutes south of Santa Cruz. Beautiful area.
Damn. Can you tell us what it’s west and east of?

frick, here comes a run on Duracell batteries now!
Posted on 1/17/25 at 10:15 pm to Figgy
Well that’s a bummer, most of these guys commenting haven’t been around that area at all. We would surf all the spots in Santa Cruz and go eat there for brunch and it was a top 5 spot in the world to go get the goods. Go out on the beach while you waited for a table.
Posted on 1/17/25 at 10:19 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
lol it's an energy storage facility not a place that makes Duracell

Well since you asked… The Pacific Ocean is to the West and the Monterey Bay is well known as a popular spot for seeing migrating whales, dolphins, and the occasional pod of orcas. Gilroy is to the East. Gilroy is known as the garlic capital of the world and holds a festival where you can enjoy such delicacies as garlic flavored ice cream, garlic kangaroo and crab garlic fries.
