Slavery has always existed. It still exist today in parts of Africa and the Middle East. Africans perfected chattel slavery. Yet, we have people here who are so fixated on slavery that was banned in the UK and America’s over 150 years ago. You won’t hear a peep about the current slavery in Africa or the Middle East.

More reason that having a World Cup in a hot arse desert nation is a really bad idea.
People go to things like this because they want to party and get laid.
Trying to do that in a Muslim nation, even one ostensibly the “Disneyland” of the Middle East, is going to end up with a lot of people behind bars.
Christ, there’s infamous stories of people skipping out of the country and leaving everything behind because they found out they lost their jobs and wanted to skip out before being jailed for violating Islamic lending laws.
Imagine the kind of crowd that goes to the NBA All Star Game trying their bullshite over there en masse.
People go to things like this because they want to party and get laid.

Been there several times on business. UAE is loaded with expats from UK, America, Australia, and from all over Europe. The idea that it is some Third World shithole isn’t based in reality. There are productive people emigrating there. Instead we have low IQ, uneducated, unskilled Third Worlders flooding into our country with zero pushback from American citizens or our government. Which place is going to be thriving in 20 years? Qatar, UAE, Dubai, etc or America? Answer is pretty easy.
