I usually love the holiday season because it means I can slack off from work and do nothing. This year was different. We have a 10 mo old daughter and she was off daycare for 6 days in the past 2 weeks. It's exhausting watching her and I can't wait to drop her off at daycare in the morning. I work from home so I'll probably continue slacking off.

Already at work. First night working overnights on my new shift. Although I didn't get any days off for the holidays, I worked my normal shift.

Ironic, ten months ago the baby was coming out of a vagina and now she's being raised by two.

ETA: Sorry, I noticed after posting you are a Falcons fan, redundant.

You are a terrible person. These holidays were fantastic for me because I was able to spend two weeks of uninterrupted time with my 8 month old boy.

You may want to reevaluate your pathetic life and grow the frick up.

Sucks that your 10 month old is already a burden for you.

You sound like a great parent. Sure she'll be on the pole in 18 years or so.

No, but you have a lot of blowhard "manly" men on the OT who think a woman should be at home with the kids ready and waiting to bang you on top of the meatloaf when you come home from work--after she's put the kids to bed of course.

OR, perhaps more accurately, you are OT baller enough to have a nanny and a stay at home wife who goes to the gym every morning and does ladies who lunch while the nanny takes care of the kids and cooks and cleans the house, and, after the nanny has cooked dinner and put the kids down to bed, is ready and waiting to frick you on top of the fajitas your nanny made when you get home from work.

Either way, day care is out of the question. At least until 4 or 5 years old.
