Unfortunately theres a very large grift going on and its pushing the younger generations to constantly center their lives around individual rights but completely eliminate personal responsibility and consequences.
Take this info, then look at the net worth of people who've been in congress for 10+ years and you've got 90% of the equation solved.

Imagine thinking this was the problem listed in the OP.

It started going wrong when they were allowed out of the closet. Just wanted to love who they wanted, then get married, adopt kids, cut their junk off, dress in drag in front of kids. Need more?

We have gotten away from personal responsibility and told everyone that their lot in life is due to some external force beyond their control.

Because degrees began to be looked at for jobs that degrees weren’t needed.
When you pull a degree requirement into HR or generic secretarial work, it makes having a degree worthless.
Trades became such a big thing because it was obvious how much more money those jobs made.
Now, specialized degrees, well sure that is a smart degree to get but generic arse college degrees are BS and aren’t gonna get you anything special from the time you put in to get it

The entire idea of communism is overturning society where the failures and dregs (the meek) shall inherit the earth.
Modern social insanity is just communism. In a few years you'll be led by social workers, not business people.

Look up "The Great Society"
It all starts there.
It all starts there.

My kids worked their arse for it. Tutors, classes on ACT, took tons of practice test, etc. my daughter takes every AP class offered at a very good public school. Lots of kids never study or even try on ACT/SAT. No my fault.

My kids are in Petroleum Engineering at LSU and yet to be name school. Get a degree in something that means something and has jobs waiting. My parents are both HS drop outs.

Here’s a brag - my parents were both HS drop outs.

ah, so they're fast readers and good at taking a standardized test
eta: ive watched people with high ACT scores fail out and lower ACT scores succeed, ACT means nothing once you step onto campus

I have both my kids with 32 and 35 ACT and over 4.0’s with full rides to major universities. All my cousins are college graduates even though my fathers 6 brothers and sisters had 1 graduate HS. They knew education or trade was the way. They never had it. Me and my cousin said everything we were taught was wrong -
