A lot of entertainers are leftists, including country music singers. Merle Haggard was certainly no right winger.
I'm not a big Garth Brooks fan but I generally separate my political beliefs from my entertainment choices. Politics infests everything these days. It's kind of sad.

If I refused to support any and all companies or individuals who differed in their political beliefs than myself, I'd have a hard time just surviving because 98% of corporations and major business has some liberal leanings to them.
