Not all women are like this. I'd definitely stay single over marrying one like that though.

Here's this whole thing put simply:

Graduating class for Duke Med School, picked because it was small and easy to see.



9 women and 7 men.

Last year, over the whole USA, women accounted for 47% of MD graduates.

What does this mean? You have women making up roughly half of the top end of a lot of graduate programs like medicine. That woman is going to come out of school at 26 and go to residency for 4 years. Now she's 30. She spends a few years at practice and is making 250k a year.

By 30, most of those male doctors have married. Sometimes they marry other doctors, sometimes they marry nurses or teachers.

So what's a 32 year old female doctor to do? Nothing. Very few men who are left with a higher salary than her want to marry a woman in her thirties.

Let's go back to the Duke class from above. 2 of the men marry a nurse or some other woman. That leaves 5 men for 9 women. They all marry each other and you have four female doctors who aren't willing to settle with someone making less, and have no men remaining who make more than them. Each year that passes makes the chance they find someone more remote.

This is the microcosm. When you replace men with women at the upper income levels, you end up with lots of single women who have no desirable partners.

This whole thing is rooted in biology; women are driven to finding a mate who can provide for their young and protect them (from a bad economy, other men, etc). When women outnumber the men at the office, their own biologic instincts sabotage them.

But in seriousness: I've been married 7 years. We've had bad days, weeks, hell even bad months. It works for us though because my wife is hard right wing, and we both know from single friends about the hell that is trying to date in their 30s. It helps convince us sometimes when things get bad to make it work, and honestly on the whole I very much enjoy being married to her.

The alternative looks grim. I feel for anyone who is single past 30.

Grow the frick up buttercups. The only happiness you get is what you deserve and you don't get to just rest on the laurels. You can go through life with this women are the devil wah wah wah bullshite mentality but for every example of that is a guy kicking a wife or girlfriend out because he snagged someone younger or prettier or more sexually active (for now) or just fricking bored with em.

So women finally have the monetary and social mobility for once in a few dozen places on the globe to be just like guys. Good for them. Goose meet gander. Pot meet kettle.

All this sad sap shite needs to stop because all it is making you pussies while still putting pussy on a pedestal, then claiming it's not.

It's not that fricking hard to get laid, it's not that fricking hard to date, it's not that fricking hard to keep a relationship, married or otherwise.
