I know I bought two tickets for my wife and daughter and its in the upper deck but I got them at a decent price(Considering what they are going for now).

I look at it like this, Iv spent thousands in flights and never batted an eye, Ive have my daughter have hospital stays for minor things that cost thousands of dollars.

So for once I can feel some happiness know she will enjoy this and have memories with her mom for a long time

I have ZERO doubt there is a healthy market of adult women who would be more than willing to do ANYTHING for tickets

I wonder if there's a courtesy van for Taylor Swift concert like they had for Hannah Montana.

I’m cracking up at seeing a few older women on my Facebook asking if anyone had an extra ticket and stating that they aren’t going to pay over face value.

$12,000

That is insane

How do all these people in every freaking city have all this kind of money? It doesn’t add up at all

How would it stop "supposed" private sellers from scamming poor, unsuspecting mom's from Birmingham?

I picked up 2 girls this morning, once from Hawaii and her friend from San Diego.....I brought them to Cafe Du Monde.....they were staying at an AirBnB Uptown.......they had no tickets to the concert but they were in town all weekend and were confident they would get some through that, whatever thing where they release some tickets at the last minute.

They said they've already seen TS in concert before so they kina sounded they knew what the doing.

secondary ticket market needs a makeover

Yea, still don't understand how I can buy tickets then sell them online for 3x what I paid, but if I try and sell them outside the venue it's illegal.

It seems like an entity could completely take over the entire nationwide secondary ticket market by simply coming out and saying we will charge a maximum $25 flat fee on all person-to-person ticket transactions.

Once your system is set up, there is really no cost to what you are doing, it would seem, and so it's all basically free money anyway, once you've wiped everyone else out

Cool, with what venues? Also what acts? Most of these artists are also selling their tickets on the secondary market, and letting Ticketmaster take the heat.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - It’s “Taylor Swift Week” in Kansas City and it would be an understatement to say people are getting excited. With attendance for both nights expected to surpass 100,000 fans, if you scored a ticket to the festivities it’s time to make sure you’re ready for it.

Early Merchandise Opportunity: On Thursday, July 6 access to the parking lots at the Truman Sports Complex is free and open to the public. The parking lots will open at 8 a.m. and the merchandise truck will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. All guests will be asked to follow signage and staff direction to a designated parking location. No overnight parking or queueing will be permitted.

That’s just merchandise day…

I think I set the odds at 12.5 Taylor swift threads on the OT this week despite the entire OT saying they don’t like her or get the hype.

Over seems like a safe bet already.

I’m pretty sure she’s only hitting three American cities this year.
It’s not about people from a particular city being able to afford the tickets, these are like a global commodity at this point
