So did it feel like you were just sleeping?

quote:That really depends. A coma that long has a severe impact on almost every aspect of mental and physical health. I was only out for a month and it took six months of physical and speech therapy before I was even released from the hospital. She's been out 27 years.
Resume life. Go to school. She can accomplish whatever she puts her mind to.

I had a friend who was in a coma for 2 weeks. He said he had no idea he was out that long, he remembers being in the hospital, before he went into one, and then when he came out of it he said he thought he had just been asleep. But the asleep where you dont remember dreams.
I then asked if he felt extremely well rested. Said he felt normal.

I wonder what it’s like being in a coma like that? Are you physically aware of it and your surroundings the whole time? That would be a living hell... or is it like a deep sleep with dreams and 27 years would seem like only hours?

I wouldn’t want my child doing that for almost 30 years either

Imagine waking up thinking you're 32 and you're really 59.

It's a good thing Omar isn't as pessimistic as Morrissey.

Whether it was factually correct or not has no bearing on how stupid your post was

I don’t believe this. Or at a minimum it’s extremely exaggerated.
There is no way she was intubated for 27 years.

When she woke up she inadvertently showed some ankle and got stoned back into a coma by the locals.
