Not sure if serious.

Possessing a fawn doesn't mean she intends to keep it forever. So typical

Taking it on a tour of the Alamo before heading to the river walk does lean that way though.

If taken from the wild, yes. A bit of irony in that you can kill them (with a licence and in season) but can't keep them as pets.

Just take the fawn, nonreason to press charges (except another reason to grab $ from the citizen).

The woman clearly thought of it as a pet. Explain she can't do it and let her go. She wasn't running some illegal game scam.

What about when it is full grown? They can be very dangerous and I've seen people attacked by deer.

Just a little salt and pepper and a quick walk across the grill and that blackstrap would be a nice entree.

Really? Throwing a temper tantrum at the Alamo over a fawn wouldn't be considered petulant behavior?

My son had a deer mount done by a guy who has 5 acres and has 3 pet deer. One is a buck and they come when called. They are 2-4 years old. His acreage is fenced but they could easily jump the fences. If they do, they come back. Pretty awesome!
