Cops get report of a shooting and it took them that long to detain/search her?

Maybe forced by policy to wait on a female officer to search her "person".

Kinda surprised they didn't frisk her already, especially if they were answering a call about someone shooting a gun. Them not doing that potentially could have cost one of the cops their lives. Thankfully none of them were hurt.

Did I miss something? She had a gun.

How the frick were those cops not instantly looking at that .357 magnum sized bandanna when they found .357 magnum bullets in her bag?

I spotted it right from the beginning of the video. Why they didn't immediately ask for that is beyond me.

She was running with the gun. She only dropped it after she got hit. She could have easily turned and shot the cops. Or shot homeboy that she was running towards

Completely justified shooting (as the vast majority are)

The shooting was justified. The cops allowing it to get to that point is not.

I mean I get they didn’t want to touch her fat belly but how hard would have been to pat that down for a weapon?

Especially after finding bullets

Responds to reports of someone shooting a gun....doesn't search suspect for gun. Finds bullets for gun.....still does not search for gun. Bandana on suspect covering gun shaped area exactly where someone would "holster" a gun.....still no reason to search for gun.

I mean, I'd prefer not to touch her either, but damn that was stupid. Maybe there is something to the police not treating minorities the same. They definitely gave that white bitch wayyyyyy too much leeway. I've been treated like more of a criminal in my frat uniform for going 10 mph over the speed limit.

I hate to criticize the cops, but that was some shitty work by them that led to the girl getting shot.
