Who in their right mind would keep some alive for 10 years in a comm?

That's fricking awful.
Also, this is why everyone needs to make sure they have documented their end of life protocol. Can't imagine what living like that for 10 years is like and don't want to know.

Apparently it ain't all bad. There's the abundant sex....
Seriously though, people are fricked, and I hope the family (or whoever takes care of the child) can give it a loving home.

She may have nearly drowned as a child and that was the wishes of her parents.
Hacienda is a place primarily for medically fragile children.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to get DNA samples from all male employees.

If it hasn't already happened.

Yep. I would start with the ones that recently quit.

Haven’t read the article, but I’m pretty sure “vegetative state” does not equal coma.

If you think this is fricked up, and it is, how about this? A mid-50s kitchen worker was screwing an Alzheimer's patient at a dementia facility in Mandeville. I can't remember how old she was, but when confronted by other staff and or the cops, he claimed it was consensual. I hope there's a hell, because he deserves it.

Yeah... good luck getting the guy to voluntarily give a DNA sample. I guess if you want to exclude some of them quickly that’s an easy way

It’s a sex abuse investigation at a medical facility, one primarily for children no less ....I would imagine they will mandate the testing at some point.
Never seen that facility. But over the years I have never heard great things about the place.

Right. More likely than not the innocent guys would want to clear their name.
Not sure what legal recourse there would be to get samples from people who refused though

The guys who refuse better make sure they never leave a plastic forks or a soda straw laying around after lunch or anything else DNA can be picked up off of.

Is that legal?
They did that “randomly” in Louisiana to find the serial killer. Seemed like bullshite.
