In detail, explain how what anything a politician posts on social media affects you?
Any examples that have impacted your life specifically?

So you’re not arguing that they were accurate or telling the truth (they weren’t)
You are instead asking “why does it matter if the highest elected officials in the country are honest on social media?”
And you think that’s a good point to make
Goddam man

No, I think you're focusing on mean tweets and it's causing you to lose objectivity.
However, the question remains. Can you point to social media posts that have affected you personally?

They aren’t mean.
They’re lies.
Falsehoods.
Inaccuracies.
The work of people who are either full of shite or too stupid to know that they’re full of shite.
If you think that’s okay, we have different standards for our country.

Are you going to answer my question or continue to deflect?
Are you not capable of forming your own conclusions on things? What can you do to influence a politicians social media posts besides bitch on anonymous message board?
What would your opinion on this tragedy have been if you weren't influenced by a tweet?

Your question is nonsense
It affects everyone to have either a buffoon or a liar or both as a President/VP/cabinet member

I’m the one that’s actually questioning the authority in this situation.
You are licking boot and saying “why do you care if they’re lying to you?!”

I've seen the videos and formed my own conclusion. I also have no issue with ICE or authority. I've served my country, and as a business owner I just want the government to have as little interference with my life as possible. I never have interactions with law enforcement, like most Americans.

In a broader sense, it affects me because I’m an American
In a micro sense, it affects me because I’m currently having to explain to a political cuckold that having a president and a VP who lie to you is a bad thing.

Good thing there's a multitude of video evidence where you can draw your own conclusion, am I right?
Can't have a conversation without resorting to tired insults? Shocking
The good news for you is trump only has three years left, then you can find something else to waste your life worrying about.

Of course
The President and VP seeing the same video and lying about it erodes public trust and confidence in leadership

In this case it’s not an insult
If you are okay with being lied to and lapping it up like a thirsty puppy dog, then you are just a political cuckold

I don't lap up anything, I ignore it all and form my own opinions based my own research.
Everyone should have a healthy fear of their government. I don't give a shite what is said, both parties lie and will continue to do that until the end of time.
Did you have this same energy during covid? Just curious. Either way, I think most people would live much happier lives when they realize they don't need to follow the every whim of politicians on social media.
In the grand scheme of things, you'll have lots of presidents and VPs throughout your lifetime. If you are a law abiding citizen, most presidents have little impact on your day to day life. Congress is much more concerning.

A Joe Biden and Kamala Harris voter actually typed these words about someone else

This is a lot of words to say “yeah they lied but so what?”
Just keep it brief next time, champ.

Never said they lied. You don't think the shooting was justified, so you feel they lied.
Btw, I was in Libya with the Dept of State immediately after Benghazi. How many politicians lied about the cause of the attack? Did you give a shite then about Obama and Clinton lying?

Wrong.
I say they lied because they got facts so completely wrong that one could come to no other conclusion.
It would be an insult to their intelligence to presume they didn’t know any better, so at the very least, they got things so wrong that one must presume they were lying.
Has nothing to do with opinion.

So only when Trump or the right does it correct?
Posted on 1/11/26 at 6:33 pm to DCtiger1
It’s telling that you refuse to address the crux of this discussion.
I don’t think it’s ever a good thing to have the President/VP and senior cabinet members getting critical details wrong (deliberately or otherwise) about significant events in this country.
You say to ignore them. I say that’s bootlicker talk.

Yeah even the most devout MAGA supporter should be able to admit that Noem and Trump’s initial accounts of the event were completely divorced from reality.
You need to see with better eyes than this. Only the left has offered up versions of this incident that are completely divorced from reality.

What the president tweets has no impact on my opinion of the objective facts of the case. You expect integrity from your politicians, that's hilarious.
Notice how you completely ignored my questions regarding Benghazi?

So we are on the same side that this administration has no integrity
Glad to hear it
