The lady, like most white liberals with her mindset, pushed boundaries into a gray area that may or may not end in injury or death. She knew it, we know it. Her arrogance, however, seemed to give her the impression, “ nothing will happen to me and , I’ll be put on a pedestal by my peers “.

Ironically enough, the unfortunate outcome goes against her likely self-imposed white privilege/white guilt narrative where "cops only shoot unarmed black folks."

Is this really it, a likes and shares thing? Why are American citizens trying to impede police from doing their jobs? I don't get the appeal of it.

National Review Online got hold of some of the training materials for the ICE Watch group.
One section actually talks about how to remove people from custody (i.e. help them escape) and amazingly blocking roads with your car is mentioned.

These unhinged people are radicalized by the internet. It’s like LARPing. They see the videos, they go through “training”, and convince themselves they are true warriors. They convince themselves they are literally fighting for a just cause. The vast majority of people are able to have political differences, but still hold down day jobs and work to support themselves or a family. These people make social justice their job. They are in true echo chambers online. It’s all LARPing, until they’re actually in the vehicle, blocking a real street with real LEO. There are real guns.
This chick probably had low-IQ to begin with, which allowed her to become radicalized. Fighting for ANY cause became her identity. Being a spouse and mother wasn’t good enough. Being outdoorsy or working hard in a career wasn’t gonna cut it. She needed to be a “soldier”.
At the end of the day, she fulfilled her purpose, and this has given her allies a reason to protest. What I view as an unfortunate event is probably seen as some sort of victory for her ilk.
