A South Carolina couple is looking for some bigger baby clothes after their son was born at a whopping 14.4 pounds.

WLTX-TV reports that Colin Austin Keisler was born by cesarean section at a hospital in Lexington. The baby is healthy, but his mother, Cindy Richmond, says they had to send her mother home for some bigger clothes because Colin couldn't fit into any of his newborn outfits.

Arthur Keisler wants Colin to be a defensive lineman at Clemson University and play for the Green Bay Packers.

Just think if she would've chose natural child birth, that would've been a whole lot of kid coming through.

Ugh, I already feel bad for that kid.

I did laugh at the local news report though. The reporter said something like "and just to give you an idea, this 14 lb baby is the equivalent of two 7 lb babies."

Jesus. She needed better gestational diabetes care. That's not really a source of pride.

I wonder how far along mom was when he was born.

I thought I had a huge baby at 9#11. He was 4 days past his due date.

Big deal. My grandfather was 13 pounds when he was born. Difference is that this was a home birth in 1920 with no painkillers.

I was 10 lbs 6 ounces and my mom delivered me naturally (not because she wanted to but they waited too long to do an epidural). My dad still holds onto some animosity for me 34 years later.
