I get LA news articles occasionally and just saw the article about her apparent meltdown on I-110 in Baton Rouge yesterday. I had lunch with her in the Quarter a few years ago and she was very articulate, intelligent, and hilarious. We had a fun time. The picture of her in the Advocate newspaper does not look
anything like her, but I guess a meltdown will do that .She has become more extreme lately on FB and I have ignored her increasing vitriol, but this is truly a shocker.
I just looked at her FB group, but there is nothing about this. I am stunned and will talk with my daughter in Baton Rouge this evening to get some facts. Leila is charged with some serious felonies and, if guilty, she will pay dearly.
Since I somewhat know her, I have empathy for her and her victims. You just never know what is brewing in the mind of another person. I will follow this closely.
