Clips firearms Wiki Only weapon that I know of that has a clip is a M-1 Garand Rifle. But others use them too.

Clips feed magazines, magazines feed guns. A few, like the M1 Garand, have an internal magazine.

I had an aunt who "accidentally" shot one of her boyfriends. She didn't kill him or get charged with anything, but she did get arrested for the half of a joint police spotted in her ash tray that she, "Had to smoke to calm her nerves after he got shot." She did that before calling 911.

I can't imagine the devastation and nightmare she's living in right now.
But this is a good lesson as to why you have to treat every gun as if its loaded and ready to fire, even if you know there's no bullets and clip in it.
This woman fricked around and found out.

OH! I forgot the other part of the story.
While at their house after the "accidental shooting" police looked around and found pipe bombs and explosives in the garage. The idiot had legitimately been making small pipe bombs to, "Blow up groundhog holes and tunnels." They both ended up with charges, neither pertaining to the shooting. I don't think they got anything other than fines from it, though.
Again....true story.
