With the cold weather, any Water Pipe issues?

Getting killed here, 14 straight day of under 32, and pipes in the ground, all around town are bursting.
And with the weather warming up a little, they expect even more to burst.
We finally got hit today, woke up, and water is barely coming out. Just got off the page of water company, and it's a main that got busted, so shite could be like this for a day or more.

It’s -12 right now where I’m at. I’d punch a kitten for it to be anywhere near 32.

A few hours away from you, if you are in the Lou (like your info says).
Been single digits here with wind chill/real feel in the negative teens.
Haven't had any issues with my house, knock on wood, and have only dripped a few nights.

So far so good in Memphis. But it hasn’t really gotten warm enough for much to thaw out just yet.
Crazy it’s 26 degrees out and actually feels warm compared to what it has been.

My brother’s house in the Rust Belt, he’s been in it 18 years.
6F last night and his pipes were frozen for the first time since he’s been there.
Next Winter he’ll probably live in NOLA (if he can survive the culcha-ites).

City has been a monstrosity of pipe bursts since the cold front came. All of that old pipe, some in underground tunnels that run under the city.
City workers had to pull a vehicle out of a hole, that was created when the main broke, and ground sunk in 5 feet.
People don't understand, the city is full of tunnels, any kind of friction to the concrete will cause huge holes to open.
Paper says over 50+ main breaks thru the area. With many other breaks around town.

Was out of commission yesterday with the flu, woke up this morning and it looks like my pool has lost a couple of inches of water. I’m not sure what that means, but it seems bad

Not at the house(NOLA), haven't checked the camp yet.
Good luck.

It is my understanding that they have already burst and will just start leaking when it warms up. Not being a wise acre but the freezing causes the bursting, of course.

Getting up to 58 today after a week with highs in the 30s. I'm tired of it being that cold

I have wrapped metal pipes, so no.
My neighbor, a retired contractor who should know better, has a water softener outside that is connected to plastic pipes. Huge break in the pipes, water running everywhere when it warmed up during the day.

LOL
Wife just left to get some lunch, and she found the break.
3 houses up, neighbors whole front yard and driveway is covered in 2 inches of ice from the break. And not one water guy out there.
We fricked, might have to Whore Shower it today.

Just got water back on yesterday. I left faucets dripping but a toilet line froze. The cold also did something to my gas water heater and my central heating thermostat and I had to replace them
