With how many RPM's does your vehicle idle?

My sedan idles around 400 RPMs. This seems awfully low. A local auto mechanic told me that this could be affecting my Air Conditioning performance.

Your thoughts on the matter?

Inb4 I’ll have my driver go check. Think mines just below 1000

If I had to guess, I’d say the warming zone on my stove is around 135F

Your mechanic is correct. Typical idle on most cars today is between 600 - 800 rpm in neutral.

It depends on if its the first start of the day and outside temp. Typical first start of the day is around 1200 and I let it idle for a minute or until it drops below 1000 (typically when it drops it drops to about 600). I do this to make sure everything is hitting correctly before taking off in the morning. In the summer the restart is typically around 750-600 and I'm good to go. In the winter if it has sat all day I will typically give it a bit to settle back down. In drive at a red light I might get down to 400 and have never thought twice about the idle RPM.

That is low for idle speed even when warm. Might want to have your mechanic check your IACV or clean your throttle body. Normal idle speed when warm is usually 700-900 rpm.

Your Ninth grade English teacher would be proud of you for forming your question to not end in a preposition.
