NavyTiger74. Poliboard poster who is rumored to like them a bit too young.

How? They aren’t enticing him to commit a crime he normally would commit. He willingly searched out and engaged with what he though was an underage kid.

the person he was talking to wasn't a teen.
Okay? What does that matter?

he is calling out another poster, which is against board rules and could easily lead to a three year suspension of posting rights

In that case, three-fourths of the PoliBoard should be on the bench.

just letting you know...I just got back from three years in banland and my offense was a similar comment to yours, based on facts, that called out a few posters who are no longer here

Yeah...I don’t think that’s how it works.

call it what you want. want to know how this won't ever happen to me?

Did you just "call him out"?
Frankly, I always wondered WTF that meant.

It doesn't matter who he was talking to. The crucial issue is his intent. He intended to solicit a 15 year old girl. Whether he was talking to a pot-bellied 50 year old detective is irrelevant. If he did not take the affirmative step of reaching out to a child for sex, then he would not have been arrested. Not like the detective contacted him and drew him in. Big difference.
Your line of reasoning is disturbing.

No, this is not entrapment. He thought he was talking with a 15 year old, it doesn't matter that she was really an adult.
Entrapment is if police trick you into doing something illegal you normally would not have done. If you had every intention of doing it anyway, it is not entrapment.
For example, if this bozo had said "Hey wait a second, are you sure you're 18? Because I don't fool around with underage chicks" and the cop said "Yes, I really am 21!" then it would be entrapment.
But he went full steam ahead thinking she was underage. Since he was planning to do something criminal entirely on his own, it isn't entrapment.

Bringing up something that a poster willingly brought to the board isn’t calling them out

perhaps, but the poster who was mentioned is not here saying those things..Like I said, mine was several years ago and I made it a point to let people know that a few posters were not as decorated as they claimed to be..Didn't seem like a big deal, but it was considered personal

I hate these things, because it is punishing evil thoughts and intentions without an illegal act, if the girl is actually over the age of consent.
i think most of us tolerate that because the ends justify the means.
always torn with this because how else do you really stop this shite before it's too late????
why the downvotes on this? i made no definitive comments. if you're okay with entrapment then i guess downvote. if you don't have an overwhelming desire to stop pedos, then downvote.
