Yep. Looks like I’m not going to the camp tonight. Guess I’ll just in the morning. Hopefully 90 is open by then

So if you put your route in on Google Maps it only gives me 1 bridge closure which can be avoided.

But DOT gives me 4. I'm sure DOT is more accurate, no?

Eh, smart, but I spent more time building a snowman with my wife this morning that I did studying for this exam
I think I did well enough.

There's more of that coming off the gulf too. Nothing like this morning but those little wintry mix flurries will be off and on for the next hour or two it looks like

I hope this is true. Weather Channel map basically shows only rain from here on out in Baton Rouge. It's all green.

Both bridges in Amelia are closed plus I’d have to go all the way around. 90 is closed from 24 all the way to MC. I’m screwed. Just poured a Rum drink and will try and leave in the morning.

This. I was supposed to pick up your mom on the way. Tell her to be ready tomorrow morning.

They use an algorithm, partially based on temperature on the ground. The column is cold enough where it's not going to melt before getting to the ground. Of course it's going to be so miniscule you'll notice the melting well outpacing the additional ice falling.

We're still getting a sleet/snow mixture here in the Feliciana's.

Is driving from Baton Rouge to New Orleans tonight a bad idea with potential bridge icing? We would be leaving for NOLA around 4:30 and coming back from NOLA around 10 or 11?

It's funny because my mom is kinda fat. And old as frick. I like thinking about you driving up in her driveway and blowing your horn, and her coming out with a big grin on her face anxious to see you.

The spillway might be ok, it's those little bridges before you get into LaPlace that will be dicey. I'd check DOTD stuff for what that'll look like close to when you'll leave.

The drive home will be the problem, but it might be makable on the Southside of the lake.

Damn.

I'm trying to find a route to come in from i10 and it might be doable. Both Sunshine and Gramecy bridges are shut down.

Can take the i10 route and go through Plaq/White Castle/Napoleonville.
