I took off all my waterproof gear and told the kids it was over. Glad it isn't.

Have the blinds open with Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack playing sipping coffee. Nice day.

Slowed down for a few minutes here in da LP but it's coming down pretty good again now.

Stay away from trees... been hearing limbs snapping all around here.

LSU was so nice to their students today. Especially those coming from Port Allen.

Man you have just been a wet blanket in this thread.

It snows like that in LA maybe once a decade. Just try to enjoy it.

It's funny watching people go from thinking snow is neat and fun to realizing that's it's shitty and terrible.

Will that "precipitate" into some flurries? The way it looks now, the chances are extremely low. The probability is probably in the single digits. I personally don't see enough evidence to suggest that it will be quite cold enough to see snow, nor wet enough to see snow. Winter forecasts are very finicky so something can change in the next 48 hours, however I do not expect any sort of weather precipitation.

And he made that statement after every major model was on board for accumulating snow. I know winter weather is hard to predict in the south but how do they just ignore the models? What was he going on, his gut?

It's not bad if it stays frozen. Down here it snows then melts, then freezes, then sleets, then rains, then snows again. Then melts.

If it just snows and is cold enough to keep it snow it's pretty cool......until it thaws and turns into a complete mess. We just skip those days or weeks before the mess and get it in the same day.

It's definitely a great day just to stay inside and enjoy the weather. I'm hoping the power stays on.

Who's the tard who was tweeting the "chances" map late last night to make a point about the snow chances? They were very clearly way off on their prediction.

As an adult this shite sucks.

Can’t get the generator cranked. Gonna be loading everyone up and going to the camp. No power there but at least a gas stove and wood burning stove with heater. Guess I’ll be bringing all 3 pets with me as well
