I was watching it come down heavy by my front door and slaw a flash of lightning with thunder

I had snow in Madisonville for about 30 minutes around 415 and now it’s sleet and snow mix when I left for work. Drove into snow fall heading into Ponchatoula Highway 22 and highway 51 were very slick but that will subside as more people drive on them.
