I'm guessing at it, but like until 9-10 am.

Hahaha! Any Yankees want to provide tips on how to rig up some snow gear? Practical sock on the hands type advice? Lol, we are ill prepared! They must be gleefully laughing at us the same way we laugh at their hurricane prep.

Anymore snow coming? How long before this melts? Trying to decide if I should wake up the 2 yr old.

As best as I can tell, still only rain in Madisonville. It looks like we are on the cusp of snow though according to the radar. Fingers crossed.

Snow coming down in Mamou. Fair amount of accumulation across the area. Hope my grand-daughter awakens to her first snowfall in Baton Rouge.

Raining and possible sleet in Denham Springs for the last 30 minutes. The snow was coming down pretty good about an hour ago.

When I was a kid and we didn't have snow gear in La, my mom would put wonder bread bags on my hands and feet to keep them dry due to the high moisture content of the snow. put socks over bags (including hands if you have no gloves)

It'll transition back to snow. Bright return on radar suggesting heavy moisture plume that probably got the column above freezing for a second but it'll cool back down and go back to snow.
