Warm layer aloft has been pretty stubborn between the 12z and 18z LIX soundings. Houston and Lake Charles should give us a hint as to how fast it's cooling out.

None of our local outlets want to jinx it for us. I believe we will be in for a wintry surprise tomorrow morning!

I'm going to be exceedingly nervous for 14 more hours. This is the best.

From what I've seen, Central LA is going to miss the moisture as the cold funnels in. So not likely to catch anything.
