Warm layer aloft has been pretty stubborn between the 12z and 18z LIX soundings. Houston and Lake Charles should give us a hint as to how fast it's cooling out.

any update on the forecast for CenLA... Alexandria/Pineville?

are our snow chances going up?

From what I've seen, Central LA is going to miss the moisture as the cold funnels in. So not likely to catch anything.

Winter weather down here is one hell of an atmospheric balancing act, so it may happen but the odds are looking much better down toward BR east.
