Good. I hope it stays cold up there. Maybe they will hold off on the summer blend gas that is too expensive.

Just took the subway to work and it was probably 5-10% of the normal commuter traffic. Very nice

The whole thing looks like a big nothingburger. 4" of snow in NYC and turning to rain? My flight (and entire business trip) got cancelled for that?!

This is looking like an epic bust for the major cities! Tough forecast.

We got about three inches when we were supposed to get seven to nine. Maine is about to get hammered though...

exactly...at least that's what everybody up north says anytime something down here happens.

An inch or so of snow and ice on top here. It's nasty outside and I'm glad I'm working from home today but the forecast was a big fat bust. We were supposed to get over a foot of snow total.

Looks like the low is sitting a little west of predictions. Would imagine it moves the big snow totals inland instead.

Also, probably not going to let it deepen as much without a full warm tap of the Atlantic.

Yep, and when they do they also sound like raging assholes. Way to join the club.

You mean there won't be a complete collapse of civilizations as forecasted????

TWC will be so disappointed.

Yeah I'm in D.C. right now and they maybe got an inch of snow, but everything is currently closed.

Same in Boston, although I think they're about to get slammed.

That will probably come to a close soon. Thing is moving pretty quickly, and the mositure is displaced from the core. Got a big dry air feed coming in from the SW.

Lots of precip over the oceans and to the north of the system but clearing out as the low approaches. Makings of a blizzard bust for all the hype, but a good reminder how hard it is predicting snow storms.
