Is this in doubt for EBR, LP, and Ascension? Is there a chance they close again tomorrow?

LAFOURCHE PARISH SCHOOL DISTRICT
Published 01/16/18 at 11:18 AM
Winter Storm Update #3

Due to widespread boil advisories, as well as low water pressure in many areas of the parish, Lafourche Parish public schools and offices will remain CLOSED Friday, January 19. Officials are in close contact with Lafourche Parish Water District #1 to monitor the situation. Schools and offices are expected to open on Monday, January 22 if these issues are satisfactorily resolved. Residents are encouraged to shut off water when not in use and to conserve water as much as possible.

I-10 and 12 were open but not many people were on them.

Airline looked like a parking lot. Looked like a hurricane evacuation.

If EBR misses tomorrow, the clueless bastards at the helm will take away their Spring break lol. Hide and watch. Or they will add a week on after Memorial Day.

Another event that caused the roads to ice over.

EBR is going back tomorrow. Water pressure in EBR is fine and even if a school has busted pipes going to the heaters, EBR will still have school.

Sometimes when they are out so long systems don't get back up as fast, or they could have facility issues. It's happened before.

LSU just pushed decision back to 8:30... ahh

quote:

Due to concerns with low water pressure across Baton Rouge, LSU is delaying its decision on whether or not to open tomorrow until approximately 8:30 p.m. tonight. Since adequate water pressure affects fire safety, as well as health and sanitation, LSU is waiting to see if water pressure across the city improves in the next few hours. Please check back for more information later this evening..
