LSU Health New Orleans announces closures:
Due to the hazardous weather conditions forecasted for the metropolitan New Orleans area, LSU Health New Orleans academic downtown and dental campuses will close at 3 p.m. today and remain closed Wednesday, January 17, 2018. All classes, patient appointments and events scheduled during this time period on our academic New Orleans campuses are cancelled.
We plan to resume normal operations on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
LSUHSC School of Allied Health Professions

St Bernard and Plaquemines Parish have just announced closures. If those two Parishes are closing then its going to get bad in New Orleans.

LSU makes their decision last bc they have some idiot weather expert professor make the decision based on his weather prediction, which he can’t make until he looks up at the clouds and checks the thermostat the day of the closure
