I'm even more curious to see what LSU will do to prevent shutting school down tomorrow

LSU will announce that students must ice skate to campus but will be urged to use caution

Doesn't do students any good. Many of us are just getting to campus.

it's 31 right now in Pineville and the snow is starting to stick in the grass

I can only imagine it's going to get really, really cold tonight and into tomorrow

I'm guessing we won't get above freezing anytime soon

48 of the state's 64 parishes are shut down. EBR is the northern most parish open for business.

It's only the parish with the largest number of state employees and with the longest average commute time (I'd assume) with an elevated interstate as the main artery.

Some brain trust we got making these decisions.

Walmart on Coursey is closing at 11:30. Something is very wrong when they close before others do. They rarely close their doors.

This is just like when we had the big tornado day last year. LSU sent out an email saying that "class is not cancelled" but to "shelter in place"

How are we supposed to go to class if we have to shelter in place?

It would be ridiculously irresponsible if school is still open at 1

That's when it starts to get really bad

The new projections continue to look worse and worse

So school will still be open at 1.

It's LSU. This is what you expect.

The EBR government must gauge things by the Waffle House Index. As long as they are open, everything is fine.
