I have an important meeting on campus at noon.
So I'm here until they inevitably cancel.
On the off chance that they don't cancel I don't want to be stuck at home.

Now we're dismissing at 10:50. Just think of the expense in bus fuel alone that was incurred to bring all of these kids to school for basically two hours (gotta serve them lunch, y'know).

if they end up closing down LSU now by the time everyone off campus they will still be stuck in the sleet/snow

You have to remember that LSU really assumes all their students live right by campus, and don't take into consideration commuters. So them not closing yet isn't surprising and they'll close as ice starts to fall if at all.

Pretty sure lab will announce that they will close soon. You cannot be on the road anywhere between 1-2
Unless LSU and lab want to send you home right as the roads sleet and are icy

LSU will announce at 12 that they will cancel classes at 3, once the roads have sustained enough sleet, snow and ice for students and faculty to leave in a mass panic and create many accidents to clog the roadways. Business as usual
