WAFB 10pm weather said 10% rain til noon, 20% at 2 and 40% at 4 pm. I'm guessing EBR and Ascension are using that particular forecast to base their decision off of.

My girls school starts at 8. frick all that 7:05 noise. I'm barely awake at that time

Yep. I rode the bus to high school and played sports.
I was routinely at the bus stop for 5:15am and on a baseball field in the spring until 7pm on practice days and 10pm on game days.
Then the teachers would wonder why I'd be falling asleep the next day.
I routinely work 60 hour weeks now and it isn't nearly as demanding as that 2 year stretch.

It never changes.
Lsu will announce at 9am that all classes scheduled after 10:30 will be canceled. Just in time to cause havoc getting out of campus.
Guaranteed Fred's will be open an hour after the announcement though. Those guys are the goat at picking up extra business when school gets canceled.
