No way to tell, too far out. If I were to guess, based on the models, the modeled teleconnections, climo, etc... I would bet on the trough being farther W with y'all in the warm sector for precipitation. Certainly something to watch for the next couple of days but not really comfortable saying more than there might be a significant system in the Feb 5 - 8 time frame.

ETA: I'm more comfortable predicting that LSU will hold on to this lead in the 2nd half

I'm in thibodaux and about 10 minutes ago it was almost stright snow but it was light. I would think any precip from here on out is gonna be snow.

it's tough to see since I'm looking into a light in a distance... I'm trying to see the dancing around that snow does... not just the straight line in which rain falls

I'm looking out at a floodlight on BM's campus... but it's so hard to tell... esp. w/ the wind right now
