This is the dumbest post in this thread. The MS River Bridge is closed. 110 is closed. The spillway is closed. The causeway is closed. The West Bank Expressway is closed. The Twin Span is closed. The Basin Bridge is closed.
There is one route into the largest city in the state. There is no route into or out of the energy hub of the Gulf of Mexico. To say that everyone created doom and gloom for entertainment is completely absurd.

I grew up there and yes, the city is a shite hole to this day. There are good people there and I feel sorry for them that they have to live in such a shite hole.

Serious question... I've never lived in such a curfew-happy place as S. Louisiana. What gives? Do they have state constitutional power to enact this at any time?

when i said that city, i literally meant the city limits of houma. the outskirts and suburbs of the city are good, but you can't argue that the city limits of houma aren't shite.
