The extended forecast for BR calls for snow from 8 pm to 1 am. The radar doesn't seem to jive with that as it stands now. I don't get weather.

Best guess is the light radar returns north of Beaumont that may wrap around after the line passes

If you're wanting to really stand out, both Penn State and Mississippi State are big names, along with Oklahoma. You can't really go wrong with any of those 3. Look into MSU's MS in Geosciences and Applied Meteorology. I hear it's a really good program although I've been removed from academia for several years now.

It can be weird like that. There's still moisture SW of Houston this thing keeps tapping into to. We've been drying out b/c there isn't enough energy here to create lift (that is my understanding of the matter, the real mets on here correct me if I'm wrong).

Possible butt crack closure. Looks like the butt cheeks were spread apart like Mike Honcho for a little while but are now closing.
