I go to one wine tasting a year. 100+ bottles, $100/ticket, I’m getting shite faced. Usually drop a few hundred on the bottles I like.
Also, them motherfrickers need bigger plates for the horsdevours.

I just cant stand when it leaves that salty residue on my tongue. I'll dribble a little out to show everyone that it's there but I swallow the rest with pride.

A tasting room and a sit down wine tasting/study are different though. I just got a certification that’s kinda like a “baby somm” and we had to taste a ton of wine to learn about it. You aren’t swallowing all that because for one, you’ll be blackout, and secondly, you’ll impair your sense of taste.

I was studying for my level 2 of Court of Master Somms when I decided to leave the industry. I do miss the excuses to get together with some friends and taste 4-5 bottles on a random Tuesday night
