Nope. I wasn't going even before this happened

Headed down for Mardi Gras. My wife and I had a conversation, but it's not deterring us from coming.

Only time I go to the city are for Saints games & Pels
Have to go thru screening machines, bomb dogs.
Not getting cars in Champions square w/ those cement barriers
It' still possible but not easy as a first choice.
I go 80 + when driving thru NOLA East

I hadn't been to Bourbon Street in 15 years and just braved the locals by going this past weekend and now a fricking terrorist attack happens there.
I'm good without ever going back for the rest of my life.

No, some dumb arse pulling this wouldn't stop me from going wherever I wish. He can go f**k himself in Hell.
But having said that, other than maybe going to an occasional athletic event or the WW2 Museum once in a while, I have already seen enough of New Orleans in my lifetime. "It ain't what it used to be."

Lol, New Orleans is a shithole filled with literal filth and democratic filth. I haven't been in years and don't plan on going perhaps ever again.
And I used to absolutely love New Orleans. I've played music multiple in music projects on Bourbon. frick that place. frick this whole state in general honestly, there's a reason we're last in everything.

Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium are big gatherings. You going to let the jihadists keep you from going there?

With vehicle attacks like this its better not to be down a narrow street with just walls on every side.
This doesnt work as well if you are driving around the park trying to hit people, they have many directions to flee while here you basically dive in one direction into a wall or store front.

Absolutely not. I stopped going there years ago for a myriad of reasons!

Only thing worth visiting that shitehole is the WW2 museum and that’s it.

I was never going there again anyway.
