Just got word. Gym closing at midnight.

Time to find a buddy that lives at an apt complex with a gym.

Damn. Even in small towns like that. This shite is surreal.

Really. That's my swimming hole. I'll just hit my recumbent bike a little harder. Pretty much came on the heels of the President's press conference.

Bunch of sweaty huffing and puffing people.
Furthermore why would you expose yourself there?

You can exercise by walking down the fricking street.

I go at opening time, ensuring that I'm the first to use the disinfected equipment.

Suck it, WuFlu.

I think it’s odd that gyms are closing but youth baseball facilities/gyms like DBat are allowed to stay open, with probably hundreds of kids and their parents/grandparents cycling through them in close proximity to one another since most if not all baseball fields are closed and school is out.

My gym is a tennis club that is still open for now. I think the tennis aspect is saving us - there is no reason that 50 people at a time can’t play tennis on 14 courts - they are certainly far enough away from each other.

I went to the gym area last night and it was pretty deserted

I wouldn't count on that....apartment complexes are shutting down their gyms as well.
