Will the DFW Toll Authority pursue an expensive bill?

My cousin Big Marlon had to work in DFW this summer because he couldn’t drive a big rig after his accident last year. I rented him my car because it had a license plate concealer and wouldn’t get charged for tolls. Somehow the toll company was still able to read the plate. Will I be alright if I don’t pay the bill and never drive the car in Texas? The bill is for more than the car is probably worth!

Are your vehicles registered in Texas or do you have a Texas driver's license? If yes, you won't be able to renew your license or registration if you have unpaid tolls as far as I know.

Went on a weekend trip to Dallas a few weeks ago and I got a bill in the mail for $47 amd that was just for a couple days. The T tag cuts the bill in half but still, good grief, it's hard to get anywhere in the northern part of Dallas without driving on toll roads.
