He said it all depends on how Hayes presented himself with the gun. Was he using it to threaten Smith, or was he making the argument to please step back in his own defense? He said the act of having a weapon does not make one the automatic aggressor.

this leads me to believe that someone in the smith camp was threatening with a gun. they all say nothing about anyone having a weapon or mentioning a weapon but the witness on that recorded video at the scene describing what happened talks about both men talking about guns.

You said that Hayes should've just not gotten out of the car or called the police.
I said that your point is irrelevant to the verdict.
You then claim that you never said it was relevant to the verdict, even though the original question asked what else Hayes was supposed to do in the eyes of the law. Keep contradicting yourself
