I'm not sure how you turn that around. They outbreed the middle and upper class.
Simple, stop paying and feeding folks that do nothing.

Not as long as we accept mediocrity and corruption and let political hacks play us like fiddles..

I agree. Best decision I ever made was the jump to Colorado. Doubled salary and less bs all around. The food is actually pretty decent and the availability of crawfish and seafood is impressive.

I agree with you but a lot of those programs are federal so it's not like LA can just end them. We should make it more uncomfortable for people that have kids that they can't pay for.

Well Louisiana’s unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been in 10 years so there’s that

Moved away in 2011. I visit once a year for a weekend... then I'm ready to GTF out of there.

Don't get mad, but people that are born, raised, and stay in Louisiana really don't know what you're missing. I can call anyone I know living in Louisiana and they are doing the same thing they were doing five years ago.

Louisiana having 75% of its residents as natives is what makes it a unique and special place. But also brings out the worst attributes of a “we’ve always done it this way...” attitude.

There is a solid opposition to the proposed bill on increasing punishment for beastislity, so steps in right direction

That’s mainly because the bill is terribly written and leaves a lot up to interpretation around sexual acts not related to animals.

I'm 40 years old. I'm not sure I'll be doing anything different in 5 years. Going to work, raising my daughter, soccer games, track meets, watching football, shite posting on TD.

I could find happiness in Detroit if my kid had a good school to attend and the wife and I had good paying jobs. Idgaf about nightlife or any of that shite anymore

So what you’re saying is the solution to make Louisiana the best it can be is for the people that were born and raised in Louisiana is to move away?

ll, shite posting on TD.

99% of the shite posting on TD is from people that don’t even live in Louisiana.

I know it’s a troll and and care enough to read. Is it really about protecting unenforceable sodomy language? Is it a priority that a man can’t get a bj from his wife?

I recognize that this state has a lot of problems. I don't know if I'll stay here the rest of my life but we've made a good living here so far.

It's really hard to place a dollar amount on my daughter growing up around her grandparents, cousins and one great grandparent. We do pay for private school but it's by choice. We could always move out to the burbs and avoid it. We just prefer being close to school/work and think private offers a better peer group.
