this weekend we are driving 350 miles away so my 4 year old can play in a tournament against 5 year olds. Any chance the tournament will be canceled? I really hope this virus doesn’t impact his development. It is extremely important to me he plays on his high school team in Bunkie one day.

In the thread covering this very same idea and topic from last night, there were no cancellations announced at this time.

Drove that far last weekend...son’s team earned a top 100 national ranking. Totally worth it.

Such a late start at 4.
I hope this is not his first season and that he is playing full time.
At 4, he needs to understand the work required to get to the major leagues. I assume he has a personal trainer, a batting coach, and a pitching coach for both left and right handed pitching. He should go ahead and develop a fastball, a slider, a curve, a change up, and a splitter.
It’s disgraceful if he is not playing in several elite associations by his fifth birthday at the latest.

He will never make it. Not enough discipline. If he is going to make excuses to not get his grind on, his commitment level will never fly. NO EXCUSES.

Just cover yourself in a big heavy duty trash bag you will be fine

The Pro Scouts could be impacted if we are quarantined. Might have to home school and post videos of them playing on YouTube now

Absolutely not. Every mom will be waiting for their son at the dugout with hand sanitizer after every 1/2 inning. Of course, you won’t be allowed to bring sanitizer into the park. But don’t worry! You can get a 4 ounce bottle for $16 at the concession stand.

With a name like Danilo, you would drive 350 miles to a soccer tournament
