Will car louvers ever make a comeback...

Saw a car the other day with a bra on it, first time in a while..
Got to thinking about car trends.. I know they still sell them, but haven't seen a car with louvers on them in a long time..
They were all the rage in the 80's and 90's...

I wanted louvers on my Camaro, but after paying for headers, dual exhaust, a 4 barrel, a camshaft, a sterio, a painjob, rims and tires, .... I was too broke.

Don't understand the point of these. Why protect your bumper if you're just going to cover it. Plus fading on exposed paint vs under bra.

I've seen new Civics with louvers.
Plus a good number of newer Mustangs, Camaros, etc. And of course, there's this guy

I got a 1984 Ford EXP 5 speed for graduation from High School and to start College. 5 speed, two seater, 1.6L 4 banger. Had air and that is it. I did put the Louvers on it.

My first car was a 71 orange 240z. What a fun car to drive! Had the louvers on the back window and a front bra to hide the rock chipped paint.
