I joke about coonasses often on here as I'm from north La. Most of the ones I have met are very good people and fun to be around. I can't think of any that are know-it-all type folks. Now, I wish they'd stop coming to north La to hunt, and I do get tired of them constantly reminding me they have a cajun accent, I can listen to you talk and already know that.
I will say, I've run into a few in Kisatchie and they are hilarious to talk to after a hunt. One guy I see just about every year still seems to speak 75% French, he's just too damn dangerous in the woods.

Yes I can attest that they do know a lot about tripping drill pipe and they are always the funniest hands on the rig too. I love them!
