I think you should call an investigative reporter.

What disappoints me the most is that I know Nak' is onto this thread by now, and not a peep. It warms my heart to see Freemanator helping though.

As a side note, this was not always me, this username. I used to be somebody. Several times in fact. Thousands and thousands of posts here, and like everyone else a couple times I got banned, in my case over literally nothing, so I stopped posting, and I posted A LOT of content, but I never will again. But stories like this draw me in, and make me want to help this TD community.

That said, my area is Florida/Government typically for work routes, but I've seen the woman many times that you all have located, and in all likelihood, many of us will have seen the perp, once you get that video. As users here, we need to set a plan for when someone sees him. Lawyer tip line once OP goes in, idk. This is a large dragnet honestly, if the video is clear, he'll be found, how do we realistically contact the OP once that happens?

Anyone else read this like he's the old haggard, disheveled guy at the bar in a movie that overhears the conversation between protagonists and jumps in to help the final push to victory?

Find the girl (rat) and the other rats will be there also.

BRPD is not going to help you.
They will unfortunately protect the rats.

HOpe your wife is okay.

And don't go to RaceTrac. I've never seen anything there but scum and this is at a location that's not trashy.

First to actually see if it’s possible to fine the dude who did it.

Second is to let others know of the situation as to how dangerous BR is.

Third was to get assistance on what to do.

Hiring a lawyer is unlikely to help you accomplish any of that.

I believe he felt the police should want to solve a crime and Racetrac should want to help make the community they do business in safe. Without being forced by a lawyer.

The likelihood of this type of crime being solved is infinitesimally small. Hiring a lawyer just means Racetrac's lawyers will get involved, which will only make it harder.

Not unless you hire someone good who also has the ear of the DA's office and/or can put the pressure on BRPD. The department is losing grip on matters that impact citizens now that its focus is politics.

You can put all the pressure in the world on them. They are still highly unlikely to solve anything.

BRPD will not bother themselves with investigating this. I don’t want to go into much detail but in 2019 my son and a couple friends were caught off guard by 3-4 masked thugs in a parking lot near LSU, guns put to their heads, thrown to the ground & robbed. Thankfully none of them were hurt or killed.

The BRPD robbery detective never visited the scene of the crime nor did he even take the time to call the business that owns the parking lot to ask about possible surveillance footage, etc.

How do I know that? Because the “detective” lied to me about it in a phone call saying there were no cameras in that area and there wasn’t enough evidence to proceed with the investigation.

So I went to the business myself and spoke to the owner, was shown several functioning cameras and footage from the time the robbery happened. Unfortunately the cameras did not pick up this particular area of the parking lot, but my point is no one from BRPD attempted to even look.

The business owner was very apologetic and helpful but knew from experience BRPD wouldn’t bother investigating.

The thugs committing crimes like this do not give a shite about laws or anything else, not the lives of the people they terrorize daily or even their own lives. They more than likely will not be taken off the streets until they’re killed or kill someone else.

And those saying for the OP to call Nak, it’s a waste of time because for whatever reason he will not touch BRPD

I would suggest calling Billy Theis at Beall and Theis Law firm. They are not ambulance chasers. Billy is a good dude and if he can help he will. He won't waste your time.

The cop lied to me, read it again slowly and try to comprehend this time. If you’re still not understanding after that then I can’t help you
