Wife is mad at me because...

...a coworker of her’s gave her some sweaters she no longer has room for. Most are nice and flattering on my wife’s svelte frame (not so subtle brag).
But...there’s this one that looks like a tank top made from a burlap material. It’s just awful.
Wife has this on and asks “what do you think about this sweater? I can’t decide if I like it.”
Me: “It looks like what Captain D’s waitresses would wear if they had waitresses.”
How long am I in the doghouse for?

You need to use a standard response like I use. For instance:
Wife: How does this look?

I'd insult her and then walk away. She ain't stoping me from sleeping in our bed. Plus I'm technically always in the doghouse, so to me it wouldn't be a big deal
