You are going to be wowed by the transformation of your partner from wife to mother. I thought I couldn't love or respect my wife any more that I did already before we had kids but seeing what she went through to make our baby and everything she's done to nurture and protect it has just blown the lid off.

When you feel the baby kick in her stomach for the first time just think that there are millions of people that see no problem in having that baby ripped apart with tongs limb by limb in her womb.
