But then You’d have some really thin pieces.

I say a slight diagonal cut in the middle.

Toasted sandwiches get cut diagonally for ease of first bite; untoasted sandwiches get cut through the middle for extra structural integrity of the edges/corners.

Oh, and if you cut a sandwich into two equal parts, that's technically down the middle!

If you cut it from top to bottom with it being that thick you gonna lose the stuffing.

That’s elongated Jewish rye. Almost a rectangle.

Are you start about a third of the way down and then cut diagonally to the last third, cutting the middle in half diagonally.

At least in my opinion

If your sandwhich is packed with lots of stuff, it's best to cut it top to bottom.

Much easier to handle.

Or if they have a lunchbox to fit it into. My middle child has one that has little divided slots in it. If you cut the sammich into strips you can lay them beside each other in there. No way a triangle is fitting.

Sorry you married an uncivilized clod.

Sandwich’s are always cut on the diagonal.

Never knew there were so many grown arse 3 year olds here. My wife makes my sandwich. I eat it. No cutting. Seems pointless

A diagonally cut sandwich reminds me of happier times.

Times when I wasn't so quick to snap on someone.

You got a fricking problem with that?
