That could never happen here in Alabama. State law prevents any establishment from enticing patrons to drink via the promise of free alcohol. The abc board would shut you down in a heartbeat if you tried that promotion here. In Wisconsin, they just show up with the news crew to see if the bar owner is gonna loose his arse with free bar tabs.

I've got a lot of folks from WI in my social circles and it was sickening how many of them were openly celebrating Rodgers going down for the year but they would be the first ones to tell you how great of fans they are in Green Bay.

I am not sure if he is trying to high horse over folks in Wisconsin but the way the south treats alcohol is far different than how it is treated up north, especially Wisconsin. We never saw Bud Light marked down to a dollar per case in Texas but it was all over up there since you can't sell alcohol below cost down here for whatever reason.

You gotta wonder if the bar is thinking they will make back what they lose on food even if the Jets lose? Say they ran this 12 times and the Jets go 6-6. They come out ahead. If Jets go 8-4 are they still ahead?

Maybe you should read it again. What would get a bar shut down here, gets the local news standing by there to enjoy the outcome. You think I’m gloating because we can’t have awesome shite like that here?
