When I was a kid when I would pass by the graveyard it use both me knowing as more people died, they would be buried in there so eventually they would run out of room... So did they have a plan for when that happened?

I want my remains scattered across Disney Land. And I do not want to be cremated.

If they do decide to cremate me. I want to be mixed in some Wendy's Chili and served to my wife. This way I can destroy that arse one last time.

For Catholics, cremation used to be a no no. The body needed to be buried for the resurrection and also
quote:

Church authorities banned the practice of cremation centuries ago to counter the ancient Roman practice of cremating the body as a rejection of the existence of an afterlife. Scripture teaches that man is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27), and therefore the body must be respected in both this life and the next. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, must be treated with respect.

I don't care, just another reason why it was frowned upon.

I don’t have a problem with cremation. Dig a hole with some post-hole diggers, dump in my ashes, kick the dirt back in the hole. Heck, I may not even need to buy a plot, just stick me next to my grandparents in the corner of theirs.

I want my ashes ground fine, mixed with water, placed in a douche, then hire the most attractive call girl you can find and have her run me through one more time.

I have my mother’s ashes on the mantle in an urn. She wasn’t a big outdoors type so sometimes I just spread her ashes out on the living room rug. Then I vacuum her back up.

Don't worry, the over 8 million people that choose to live in one of the most interesting, and exciting cities on earth haven't really noticed you are not there.

A slumber did my spirit seal;
I had no human fears:
She seemed a thing that could not feel
The touch of earthly years.

No motion has she now, no force;
She neither hears nor sees;
Rolled round in earth's diurnal course,
With rocks, and stones, and trees.

Im definitely buying the coffin where they plant a small tree seed on top of your body. Your body is then covered in nutrients and placed in a biodegradable coffin. Overtime the tree absorbs your body and you become one with mother earth, man.

No way am I being cremated. How am I supposed to rise from the dead one day if I’m ashes?

As a spouse of a recipient of a transplant, you are an a-hole if you aren't a donor.

I understand cause of religious reasons, but why wouldn't you want to save someone else's life?

This is my old-school Catholic dad’s take on it, too. My way of thinking is that if the good Lord can resurrect a pile of bones from the dead, why can’t He also reconstitute a pile of human ashes?

BTW—not trying to be sacrilegious or anything.

Ashes to ashes.

I will be cremated. Go into an MRI tube and see how that feels.

Screw burials AND cremations.

I'm having my body launched out into space.

My dad is VERY adamant about us cremating him if or when the time arises.

I'm the same. I have no desire to rot away in the ground and costs my family thousands upon thousands of dollars for embalmment, a casket, burial and all that entails. If they want to keep the ashes, let them. If they want to spread them, let them. I won't know either way.
